Lending Manager | Help businesses access finance and achieve their ambitions

Let’s Do Business Finance is looking for a motivated Lending Manager to assess and progress loan applications for start-ups, SMEs and social enterprises.

You will review business plans, accounts and forecasts, assess affordability and viability, prepare lending recommendations and build strong relationships with applicants and referral partners.

This role would suit someone with experience in lending, underwriting, banking, business finance or credit management who combines strong financial analysis with excellent customer relationship skills.

Trainee Lending Manager | Entry-level finance and business lending opportunity

Are you a motivated college leaver with an A Level, T Level or equivalent qualification in finance, business, accounting or a related subject; or maybe you are just looking for a change of direction?

Join Let's Do Business Finance as a Trainee Lending Manager and start building a career in SME finance and responsible lending. In your first year, you will spend more time working with the lending administration team, learning how loan applications are processed, how customer cases are managed and how lending documentation, CRM records and compliance checks are completed.

As your skills develop, you will receive training in Start Up Loan assessment, financial analysis, credit risk, customer relationship management and responsible lending, with a view to progressing towards Lending Manager responsibilities after the first year.

We are looking for someone ambitious, organised, numerate, self-motivated and keen to learn. Previous lending experience is not required, but you should have a genuine interest in finance, business and helping small businesses access the funding they need to grow.
