Let’s Do Business Group Awarded Two Contracts to Support Entrepreneurs and SMEs in Brentwood and Rochford Districts
We are pleased to announce that Let’s Do Business Group has been awarded two significant contracts to deliver new, fully funded business-support programmes in Essex: Smart Start Brentwood and Innovate & Elevate Rochford District.
Funded through the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), both programmes will offer entrepreneurs and local businesses free access to high-quality training, expert mentoring and targeted business growth resources.
Smart Start Brentwood - Supporting Start-Ups
Commissioned by Brentwood Borough Council, Smart Start Brentwood provides residents and newly formed businesses with a comprehensive package of business support.
The programme delivers:
In-person and online workshops on start-up essentials
Specialist topics including branding, marketing, finance and scaling
One-to-one business mentoring from experienced advisers
Access to Brentwood’s Start-Up Grant Scheme for eligible participants
Flexible support tailored to young businesses aged 0–3 years
The initiative will help aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs turn ideas into sustainable businesses and strengthen Brentwood’s local enterprise landscape.
Innovate & Elevate Rochford District - Empowering SME Growth in Rochford District
On behalf of Rochford District Council, LDBG will deliver Innovate & Elevate — a growth accelerator designed for established SMEs seeking to innovate, lead more effectively and scale with confidence.
The programme includes:
A comprehensive leadership programme (The Elevation Lab) with workshops on finance, marketing, management and negotiation.
One-to-one coaching with industry specialists
Peer networking and collaboration opportunities
Grant-writing and investment-readiness support
Participants will also benefit from six months of follow-on support, ensuring the long-term impact of the programme.
