Newhaven Businesses Benefiting From £121,125 in Local Grant Funding
Let’s Do Business Group’s partnership with Newhaven Enterprise Zone continues to thrive, offering grants that drive business expansion and sustainable development across the town.
Let’s Do Business Group is proud to continue working with Newhaven Enterprise Zone (NEZ) to deliver two key business programmes, the Newhaven Refurbishment of Employment Space Fund and the Low Carbon Investment Fund, supporting local business growth, sustainability and redevelopment in Newhaven.
These programmes have already seen significant uptake, with £69,233.64 awarded from the Refurbishment of Employment Space Fund and £51,891.36 from the Low Carbon Investment Fund. These investments are enabling the redevelopment of disused sites, the expansion of commercial buildings, and the adoption of sustainable business practices, helping local businesses grow while moving towards net zero.
Newhaven Refurbishment of Employment Space Fund
The Newhaven Refurbishment of Employment Space Fund focuses on developing existing commercial buildings through refurbishment, expansion, or relocation. By supporting these projects, the fund creates new employment opportunities and boosts economic activity in the area. Grants of up to £25,000 are available to help local businesses grow, relocate and create jobs in Newhaven.
The Low Carbon Investment Fund
The Low Carbon Investment Fund helps businesses adopt low-carbon technologies and processes, supporting growth while reducing environmental impact. It is open to any company with a base at a NEZ site looking to develop low-carbon products or services.
