Helping to Keep Hastings Coastline Clean

Let's Do Business Group, together with its subsidiaries Let's Do Business Finance and Let's Do Marketing, swapped our laptops for litter pickers on 10 July 2026 as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and environment.

15 members of our team walked the coastline from Hastings Pier to The Stade, collecting seven bags of litter and helping to keep one of the town's most treasured spaces clean and welcoming for everyone.

As a social enterprise, Let's Do Business Group is committed to making a positive difference across the communities it serves. Alongside supporting local businesses through finance, marketing and business support, we believe in taking practical action that benefits residents, visitors and the wider environment.

The group would like to thank Rother Voluntary Action for its invaluable support and for lending equipment, which helped ensure the team could carry out the litter pick safely. Thanks also go to Hastings Borough Council for its support and assistance in the lead-up to the event.

As a social enterprise, giving back to our community is at the heart of everything we do. Hastings is a fantastic place to live, work and visit, and we were delighted to play a small part in helping keep our beautiful coastline looking its best. We hope our efforts encourage others to take pride in the local environment and support initiatives that make a positive difference.
— Graham Marley, Chief Executive for Let's Do Business Group
